FAQ

Questions, answered.

Everything you might want to know about RiskMize — pricing, the platform, security, and how to get started.

Pricing & billing

Plans, founder rates, and how billing works

When will pricing be available?

We're locking in our pricing structure for a public launch later this year. Early access members will be the first to see final pricing and receive founder rates locked in for life.

What do early access members get?

Hands-on time with the platform before launch, a direct line to our product team, and permanent founder rates on Starter and Professional tiers.

Can I switch plans later?

Yes — upgrade or downgrade any time. Changes take effect at the next billing cycle, with prorated credits for mid-cycle upgrades.

Do you offer discounts for nonprofits or academia?

Yes. Meaningful discounts are available for registered nonprofits, research institutions, and humanitarian organizations. Reach out to sales for details.

How does Enterprise pricing work?

Enterprise plans are tailored to your organization's size, deployment, integrations, and SLA. Book a call for a custom quote.

Is there a free trial?

Early access is effectively a free trial — join the waitlist and we'll grant access as cohorts open. Post-launch, Professional includes a 14-day free trial with no credit card required.

What payment methods do you accept?

All major credit cards via Stripe. Enterprise customers can pay by invoice, ACH, or wire transfer with annual contracts.

Platform & features

How the product works and what it can do

What does RiskMize actually do?

RiskMize is a real-time global threat intelligence platform. We aggregate incidents from hundreds of sources, geo-locate them, classify them by severity and category, and surface the signals your team needs through a dashboard, alerts, and an API.

How fresh is the incident data?

Most incidents land in the feed within minutes of publication. Our pipeline is push-based and continuously deduplicates across sources to avoid noise.

Do you have an API?

Yes — REST API and webhooks for incidents, categories, and risk scores. Available on Enterprise plans. See the documentation for details.

Can I export reports?

Professional and Enterprise plans include unlimited PDF reports, branded with your organization's logo, plus CSV exports of any filtered view.

What does the risk score (0–100) mean?

It's a composite of incident volume, severity weighting, recency, and geographic concentration. A score above 70 indicates a region under elevated stress; you can configure your own thresholds in alerts.

Data & security

Where your data lives and how we protect it

Where is my data stored?

Customer data is stored in encrypted databases in the US by default, with EU and APAC regions available on Enterprise plans. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256).

Do you sell or share my data?

Never. Your usage data, alerts, saved views, and team activity are private to your organization. See our Privacy Policy for the full breakdown.

Are you SOC 2 compliant?

SOC 2 Type II audit is in progress and expected to complete this year. Enterprise customers can request a current security questionnaire and pen-test summary.

What sources does the threat data come from?

A mix of public news outlets, government advisories, OSINT sources, and structured feeds. Every incident retains a link to its original source so your analysts can verify.

Account & access

Sign-in, teams, and managing your workspace

How do I invite team members?

From your workspace settings, click Invite member and enter their email. Professional plans include up to 10 seats; Enterprise is unlimited.

Do you support SSO?

Yes — SSO via SAML 2.0 and OIDC is included on Enterprise plans, with support for Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace, and any compliant IdP.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Cancel any time from billing settings — no calls, no retention scripts. You'll keep access through the end of the current billing period.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

You can export everything for 30 days after cancellation. After that, your workspace data is permanently deleted from our systems.
